So many reasons to add a pair of these straps to your snowboard setup.
Adds stiffness, can help older boots that have loosened from use.
Also, as a safety factor in your backpack if somone in your group breaks a Boa, could save the day.
Worked well for a bit but broke within less than half a season.
These should be on every boot. Excellent product if your boots don’t have a power strap
Brilliant. Do exactly
What they say on the tin. Expensive for a strip of Velcro - but do work well!
My right foot is weak due to multiple injuries. Because of that, I constantly bust out the boa on my snowboard boot. I put two of these strapins on my right boot and it stayed tight all day.
They are pretty much just velcro straps. But they are well-made with a metal buckle and good stitching. After two days of hard riding I didn’t see any signs of breakdown or wear so I think they’re actually worth the money.
So far so good. Breathed some life into oldish, soft boots. Allow for more consistent tightening, eliminating tight/sore spots and keeping the foot fixed. In theory, handing having some straps in case a boot or binding breaks too.
Amazing. Changes the feel of the boots entirely. Just wrapped up 6 days in aspen snowmass and felt super connected to the boots and boards thanks to the strapins
The Strapins are easy and fast to use. Also the quality of the velcro is great. I used the Strapins on my outdated (but still as good as new) Burton Highline single boa boots. I was able to adjust my boots tighter around the ankles without the Boa laces being too tight around my feet and shins. The Strapins made the boots feel a bit stiffer too. A good upgrade without buying new boots!
These are awesome. Not only do they help with heel lift but they can be used to fix issues with your truck/vehicle
Legitimately, I would have gave up on snowboarding if it weren’t for these. I’ve got size 6.5 wide feet, and no one makes any wide boots smaller than a 7. Nothing but struggling and suffering for the past 2 years as a beginner boarder, hundreds of dollars on random pieces of foam and several pairs of boots to try and get my feet to stop hurting. I couldn’t even get up the lift without my feet starting to hurt, and had to take my boots off for a break after every run…
First day this season with these joints, I’m doing back to back runs just straight flying. Heel liift almost completely gone, and wearing a second strap above the boa like the site suggests locked my boots to my feet for real. Absolutely insane, I feel like I can finally progress properly.
Pricy but the Strapins work really well.
For what the product is (a strap with velcro) I find it expensive. However, the quality of the material and the factor that the velcro can hold on for most of the day makes it worth it.
The Strapins really help keeping you boots snug in some areas where they are not fitting perfectly. I use it as a complement to the power strap my boots already have and I'm very happy with how they work.
Even considering the price, I would (and most likely will) buy again.
My favorite Salomon Synapse JP Wide boots are broken in and ride great, but the Quick Lace cinch started failing/releasing after ~100 days of hard carving. Strapins at the cuff/top keep the boots closed and working perfectly again.
They were Christmas gifts for my grandsons. They were thrilled to get them. Better yet was the customer service. Made good on a set that was lost in the mail.
Thank you so much for that!
They help a lot! A cheap fix! Thought I would need new liners, if not new boots..
My rear boot flogged out this season, creased the tongue and was blowing out at the ankle. I was seriously sceptical about how much difference a velcro strap could make. I crank my boots as tight as I can get them and then put one strap as low as I can get it around the ankle and one as high as I can near the top of the boot. The straps really do help hold the boot together and improve stiffness. I now run two on each boot always. I expect I'll get an extra season out of my current boots and intend to run Strapins from day one on new boots.
I was very impressed with the customer service from the team, they help resolve an issue and went above and beyond helping me, in regards to the product I was very happy with how they felt, I have short wide feet and get a lot of pain when boarding but the Strapins helped secure my foot and have good blood flow. Helping a lot with pain
Gave a boost of responsiveness to my old boots!
I ordered a pair of Strapins to help with heel lift. I've always had issues with heel lift in my snowboard boots.
The first day of riding with the Strapins there was a noticeable difference. Definitely worth the purchase.
A week later I charged again but also added some Superfeet Winter insoles to replace the standard insoles that came with my ThirtyTwo boots.
With the Strapins and the upgraded insoles, my boots felt the best they ever had. No heel lift despite charging all day.
I recommend picking up a pair of Strapins for vour snowboard boots. You will be stoked.
These are good quality straps with a solid, heavy-duty loop, which means i'm able to pull them really tight without feeling like I'm going to snap something. My current boots are only single-BOA, and I love how snug these can keep my boots throughout the day.
Works exactly as advertised, I love these. I use these for my wife to keep her BOAs from loosening up every other run and to provide life support(i.e. more stiffness) to my run down 2 yr old boots (25+ days on slope). Works so well, I'm going to pick up another pair for next season.
